Strong programs, superior performers stand out at mid-point inspection

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio --

Six Airmen with the 178th Wing were recognized as superior performers during the mid-point inspection at Springfield Air National Guard Base in Springfield, Ohio, Feb. 4.

Master Sgt. Brian Stiteler, Master Sgt. Matthew Reyes, Master Sgt. William Romes, Staff Sgt. Gavin Nunnelley, Staff Sgt. Brittany Taylor, and Senior Airman Leici Nunnelley stood out as exceptional performers.

These Airmen are part of the 178th Civil Engineering Squadron and the Security Forces Squadron.

“Last month we had our mid-point inspection, and we did great,” said Col. John Knabel, the 178th Wing commander.

The 178th Wing fitness program, JAG availability, 123rd operational rates, and the commander’s inspection program were recognized as strong programs.

“Our Readiness and Emergency Management Flight and Munitions Flight got superior team honors,” said Knabel. “Great job, and thank you for going the extra mile.”
