Patriot Exercise 2010
VOLK FIELD, Wis. -- 1st Lt Joseph Meller, 836th Sapper Company from Kingsville, Texas, briefs troops about the scene they are about to encounter during the domestic operations exercise portion of the Patriot Exercise 2010 in Volk Field, Wis., July 15. The Patriot Exercise is an international annual training event sponsored by the National Guard Bureau held in July at Volk Field and Fort McCoy, Wis. to increase domestic and combat readiness and capabilities of National Guard units.
